Anyway, ladies, this is the day for you to let go and have a blast, October 23rd Maui hosts the annual Wahine (women) Fishing tournament. Sign up now because the boats fill up quick. Don’t worry guys; we might leave a few for you. Maui is hosting the annual Jack pot fishing tournament on October 29-30th for guys and gals. Let’s see if we can catch a record Marlin, Sailfish, MahiMahi, Ono, or anything. There is nothing like the rush I get when the rod starts that sound….zzzzzzzzzzz. Have you ever felt like you just can’t because you’re getting too old? Well, I have decided that I will not let my age hold me back from filling my dream list of things to do on Maui. I have lived here now for over 15 years and still haven’t done everything! I am determined to try new things. One adventure on my list will be to ride the zip line in the mountain! It sounds scary but it’s one step closer to my goal of jumping from a plane and gliding peacefully to our beautiful island! I have been parasailing and if parachuting is anything like it, I can’t wait!!! I can only imagine the view, seeing the fishing in the ocean below. I’m not sure what kind of marathon this is officially called, but I will call it “The dual” marathon.
